DESIGN TEAM

ALAIN LORESALAIN LORES (Projection/Animation/Set Design) created the digital animation for SoBe Arts 2014 world premiere production of Fairy Tales, Songs of the Dandelion Woman. Dandelion Woman was his first foray into music-theater design. He is the director, motion graphics artist, and creative ninja behind LoresFX, an animation boutique studio based in Miami, FL. Alain is also a co-founder of the creative collective, Random Motion. He creates dynamic, eye-catching works for companies including Intel, FedEx, and Audi. He was the Associate Producer & Motion graphics artist for the award winning movie Far out isn’t far enough. The movie was nominated for a 2014 Outstanding Achievement in Graphic Design & Animation by Cinema Eye Honor and is also one of only five films that is a Documentary Motion Picture Nominee at the 2014 Producers Guild Awards. Alain conceptualized and created a graphics package animation for Real Change: Artists for Education, a one-hour primetime special that aired on CBS on April 23rd, 2013. As a founding member of SapientNitro’s 3D Graphics department Alain was involved in creating concepts, pitching, and the execution of high-end animation projects for Coca-Cola, Celebrity Cruises, Dolby, Chrysler, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and others.

PATRICK TENNENTPATRICK TENNENT (Lighting Design) is excited to return to Miami to collaborate again on a new project for SoBe Institute of the Arts, following his work on last season's Fairy Tales: Songs of the Dandelion Woman. A long-time Miami local, Patrick served as Resident Lighting Designer for Actors' Playhouse from 2003-2013 before relocating to New York in the summer of 2013. He has received multiple Carbonell Award nominations for his work over the years, and was honored to receive the award in 2011 for his design of Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol. Patrick has designed lighting for a wide range of productions, from one-man shows to mega-musicals for some of the finest regional and educational theaters in the South Florida area, including Actors' Playhouse, Mosaic Theatre, New Theatre, Zoetic Stage, The Promethean Theatre, and the University of Miami Jerry Herman Ring Theatre.

CAMILLA HAITHCAMILLA HAITH
(Costume Design) She is the proprietor of Walloping Moll where she designs, coordinates and produces costumes for opera, theater, film and cruise lines. Recent projects include the design of L’Etoile at Florida International University and the build of costumes for Celebrity and Royal Caribbean cruise lines. This is Camilla’s second season as costumer for the Miami Summer Music Festival. This year’s festival will include productions of Cendrillon, Hansel & Gretel, Don Giovanni and Albert Herring.  Camilla was the Costume Director at Florida Grand Opera for seven seasons (2007-2014) where her designs included costumes for Mourning Becomes Electra (2013), The Magic Flute (2013) and Maria de Buenos Aires (2012). She is a graduate of Penn State and holds a BFA and MFA in theater with an emphasis on costume design as well as a BFA in Fashion Design from the International Academy of Design and Technology in Chicago. In 2014 she created the costume designs for SoBe Arts world premiere production of Fairy Tales, Songs of the Dandelion Woman.

MICHAEL MILESMICHAEL MILES (Projection Design) comes to "Intelligent Systems" with over 40 years experience in the Performing and Visual Arts.  His career has run the gamut from performing in minstrel shows and singing in a traveling gospel group as a child, to designing industrial theater for corporations such as Whirlpool, CYSCO, and Holiday Rambler.  Michael is currently the Resident Properties Coordinator for the Florida Grand Opera. 

JANE ROSENBAUM (Stage Manager) is glad to be stage managing at SoBe Arts again after working on Fairy Tales (Songs of the Dandelion Woman) in 2014.  She currently works with the National YoungArts Foundation as an Artistic Programs Coordinator.  Previously she stage managed for Robert Wilson with The Old Woman, Zinnias: The Life of Clementine Hunter, Einstein on the Beach, The Life and Death of Marina Abramovic, and Snow on the Mesa in her repertoire. She has also worked with The Martha Graham Dance Company and Island Moving Company.  Jane received her MFA in Theatre Practice from the University of Exeter, UK.
