Rosanna spent three summers as a fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center (2009-2011), where she worked with James Levine, Kurt Masur and many other renowned conductors and soloists. She graduated cum laude from Rice University in May 2012. Robert Chumbley - Piano/Conducting/Composition/Ensembles
Mr. Chumbley Mr. Chumbley  has served as Music Director for Atlanta Ballet for five seasons, and for Cleveland Opera. He has appeared as guest conductor with the Breckenridge Music Festival (Colorado), American Repertory Ballet, Norwegian National Opera, the Royal Ballet Orchestra (London), the Carolina Chamber Symphony, Winston-Salem Symphony and the Prague Chamber Orchestra among other groups. Marizelda Marizelda Eggertsson - Classical Saxophone
Saxophonist, performance artist Marizelda Eggertsson studied at the Miian School of Music, Brecsia Academy of Music and the International Conservatory of Music in Paris and was awarded First Medal Prize in Classial Saxophone. Serving as an Assistant Professor, Mrs. Eggertsson continued at the Conservatoire International de Musique de Paris giving individual artist instruction in classical saxophone.

Emma Gerstein

Emma Gerstein - Flute
Studied at Manhattan School of Music and Indiana University. Her recent engagements include performances with the Milwaukee Symphony  Orchestra, Quad Cities Symphony and the Lexington Philharmonic, where she served as principal flute. Ms. Gerstein has participated in numerous festivals including Aspen Music Festival, Beethoven, Sarasota Music Festival, Spoleto Festival USA and the Cabrillo Festival Orchestra. Emma is currently a fellow at New World Symphony.

Miles Jacques, Clarinet/Musicianship
A clarinettist with New World Symphony under Artistic Director Michael Tilson Thomas. Prior to this Miles was the bass clarinettist Symphony C, under Rossen Milanov. Miles graduated from Peabody Conservatory of Music and Mannes College of Music.

Mary Adelyn Kauffman - Chorus/Voice/Piano/Musical Theater
Mary Adelyn Kauffman, vocal coach and conductor, enjoyed a free-lance career in Hamburg and Berlin before accepting her positions as assistant conductor and vocal coach at the City Theater in Hildesheim, Germany. In 2011 Ms Kauffman returned to Miami, where she received a Doctorate from UM and was a member of the Young Artist Program at Florida Grand Opera. Besides teaching at SoBe Arts she holds a position with FIU. In May 2014, Ms. Kauffman was Music Director for the world premiere of Carson Kievman's "Fairy Tales, Songs of the Dandelion Woman."

Samara Kelly - Acting Instructor
Samara comes to SoBe Arts from New Yoru City and Los Angeles, where she worked for many years off-braodway and in TV. She holds a Master's in FIne Arts from Harvard University and is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.

Carson Kievman - Composition/Stage Direction
As SoBe Music Institute's executive artisic director, Carson Kievman, PhD (Princeton Univerisity), MFA (California Institute of the Arts) has won several awards and held many prestigious residencies including the Tanglewood Music Festival of Contemporary Music, New York Shakespeare Festival, Eugene O'Neill Opera/Music-Theater Conference, and the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra. Glen Lawrence has spent 35 years in acting, teaching, writing and communication. He has studied acting with Sanford Meisner and has performed multiple roles with Actors Theatre of Louisville (more.)
   
Jeremy Karlyn Mason - Percussion
Karli holds a Master's in percussion performance from Boston Conservatory and a Bachelors in Music Education from the University of Maryland. She is currently completing her doctorate as a Mancini Fellow at the University of Miami focusing on chamber music and works for theatrical percussion. She recently performed vibraphone and marimba in the SoBe Arts premiere of Fairy Tales, Songs of the Dandelion Woman.
   
Jeremy Jeremy Morrow - Trombone
Jeremy Morrow is currently the Bass Trombonist in the New World Symphony. Jeremy received his Bachelor of Music degree in performance at Northwestern University. While at Northwestern, Jeremy received multiple awards from the International Trombone Association and was selected for the 2012 Pacific Music Festival in Japan. He also performed with multiple orchestras in the Chicago area...
   
Derek Mosloff Derek Mosloff - viola/violin
Derek Mosloff holds degrees from New England Conservatory and University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He spent five summer at Tanglewood Music Center. Besides playing and teaching at SoBe Arts he is currently a viola fellow at New World Symphony in Miami Beach
   
Rebecca Mosloff

Rebecca Mosloff - violin
Rebecca Mosloff graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Music from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she studied with Rebecca Fischer, first violinist of the Chiara Quartet. She attended Walnut Hill School for the Arts for high school and studied with New England Conservatory faculty member Marylou Churchill. She recently performed violin in the SoBe Arts premiere of Fairy Tales, Songs of the Dandelion Woman.

   
Carol Nicholson

Carol Naveira-Nicholson - flute
principal flutist of the Miami Symphony since 1994 and a member since the orchestra’s inception in 1989, has performed extensively with many South Florida professional orchestras over the past twenty years including the Miami City Ballet, Miami Lyric Opera, Boca Pops, Miami International Piano Festival, Palm Beach Opera and Symphony of the Americas. She recently performed flute in the SoBe Arts premiere of Fairy Tales, Songs of the Dandelion Woman.

Lee Philip Marco Sartor - Guitar
Marco Sartor has performed solo, chamber and orchestral concerts in the Americas and Europe to critical and public acclaim. He has taught private and group guitar lessons for more than 15 years and recently completed his doctoral residency at Yale School of Music. He is also a graduate of Carnegie Mellon Universityand the College of Charleston.

Milana Strezeva - Piano
Milana Strezeva is a is a graduate of The Juilliard School and a founding member of the Manhattan Piano Trio, one of the most prominent and active chamber music groups in the country. Catherine Weinfield, Oboe/Musicianship
Catherine Weinfield plays with the Florida Grand Opera and holds a position with the Honolulu Symphony. She played with the Cleveland and San Diego Symphonies, and the Metropolitan Opera. Catherine studied at Cleveland Institute of Music and Mannes College in NYC.

   
Whitfield Brad Whitfield - Clarinet
A native of Birmingham, Alabama, is currently a fellow with the New World Symphony under the artistic direction of Michael Tilson Thomas. Brad received his B.M from Northwestern University and his M.M. from the University of Southern California. He has spent summers playing with the Tanglewood Music Center, Spoleto Festival USA, Central City Opera, Music Academy of the West, Pacific Music Festival, and the National Repertory Orchestra
