Music Classes

• 10 Week Classes available in all instruments, voice & composition. All levels available from beginners to advanced. Classes meet for one hour each week - Now Enrolling - Start date TBA Tuition $250

10 Week Group Classes meet one hour per week and are arranged for voice, violin, viola cello, bass/contrabass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, french horn, trumpet, trombone, saxophone, electric/acoustic guitar, classical guitar, jazz guitar, folk guitar, classical piano, jazz piano, percussion & drums, banjo, composition. Register online or via the office - when at least three students sign up for the same group class it begins at a time convenient for the participants and instructor.

Acting Ensemble

The course will take place in the newly renovated and historic Little Stage Theater which has been transformed into a professional black box performance space.   This 8 week class will enhance the abilities of professional actors as well as lawyers, models, singers or anyone interested in enhancing their performance and/or public speaking skills. Participants will also have an "insider" opportunity to audition for SoBe Arts professional productions. Instructor is also available for private coaching. Register today!

SoBe Arts presents an intensive 8 week Music-Theater program which will focus on professional training and development of performance skills (a music-theater performance will be mounted).

Topics learned will include: bringing characterization to a song, defining a character, vocal techniques, and mastering the various musical theatre techniques and styles. In the beginning levels, technique and style will be introduced in the three areas. In the more advanced levels, various styles, advanced technique, and vocal performance will be the focus.

Tuition: SoBe Arts annual membership fee and one half tuition payment is required immediately after registration to secure your in the program - may be made online or in person via check/ cash. Balance of tuition due prior to first day of classes. An installment payment schedule can be arranged with the office manager.

Tuition discount for multiple classes
Take any two or more classes and receive 20% off all tuition.

Annual Membership fee: a $25 individual or $40 family annual membership fee is required at time of registration. Students who have not yet participated in any SoBe Music Institute programs previously need to pay the membership fee..

Tuition Music/$250 (1 hour for 10 weeks); Theater/$250 (2 hours for 8 weeks); Musical Theater/$350 (3 hours 8 weeks)

Registration will continue throughout the semester with tuition pro-rated based on weeks remaining.

Private Lessons - Monday thru Saturday (open to all beginning, intermediate & advanced students) 9:00AM-10:00PM 7 Days a Week - all ages and levels in music, theater or dance. To schedule lessons register and contact the Office.

Parking Information - MAP

There is metered street parking everywhere in area (between Washington Avenue and Collins Avenue). There is a small parking lot on Liberty and 21st Street and a large municipal parking lot on Collins Avenue between 21st and 22nd Streets.
